Description
Source of building data: Notations from the collections of the Cayuga County Historian. (Date of notations unknown.) Residence of Samuel Laurie 1872-1894. Laurie was superintendent of the Auburn Wool Mills. According to Dr. Thomas Laurie, his father, Samuel Laurie had this house built to resemble a Scottish Castle in his native Sterling, Scotland.
